My light thing: reading "The kindness of strangers stopping to give you directions." and seeing at least 5 different faces in my mind's eye of people who have helped me. Mostly old men. ❤️💜 Another light thing is seeing how you have set up this substack!! 💛

Now I am so glad I left that one in. For a while after I wrote the piece, I thought I should take that one out thinking it was much too common. But it was meant for raju!

Oh Sai bai, I can’t stop smiling. Lots of love. Bookmarking it for days ahead when I need to be drenched by the unbearable lightness of being.

How I knew it was Sana who may have sent this prompt to you! How bizarre it is to bond with people over writing!!!

My light thing - i get vicariously cheerful out of seeing people greet each in the mornings on our streets. It's never the same later on in the day. 6-8 am is peak hours for our morning cheer :)

Sai, this is so cool! I wrote about Gratitude few days ago and now, here I am reading your list of things that make you feel light :) The synchronicities as Raju points it out <3 BTW, I have an Aloe Vera plant too and I loved how you wrote "Watching the tui feasting on the aloe vera nectar at daybreak." I have a little visitor enjoying the nectar from our Aloe Vera too and I've tried so many times to click a decent picture but my crazy cat Nala scares it away before I manage to click! This bit in your essay made me smile the most as again, the little connections we have from so far apart keeps surprising me everytime :) Keep writing Sai. Your writing makes me happy 😊
